How to delete your account
- Cancel any subscription first. If you pay through Google Play or the Amazon Appstore, cancel there — deleting your account does not stop store billing. On Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → 42 Todo! → Cancel.
- In the 42 Todo! app: open Settings → Account → Delete account, type DELETE, and confirm.
- Or on the web: sign in at dashboard.42todo.com, open Settings → Account → Delete account, type DELETE, and confirm.
- Can't sign in? Email privacy@42todo.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We'll delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. Want a copy of your tasks first? Download it from the web dashboard under Settings → Import & export before you delete.
What we delete
Everything tied to your account, straight away:
- your sign-in account: email address, name, password or Google sign-in link, and plan
- your tasks, lists, reminders, and settings
- metrics, their webhook links, and file attachments
- connected AI assistant and integration settings — every connected app is signed out
- subscription and entitlement records we hold, and in-app usage counts
What we keep, and for how long
- A deletion record, kept indefinitely: an anonymous account ID, the date, and how many items were removed. It contains no email, name, or task content.
- Server logs, which can include that anonymous account ID, kept for up to 30 days and then erased automatically.
- Purchase records held by Google Play or Amazon are kept by them under their own policies. We can't delete those.
We don't keep backups of account data, so nothing comes back after deletion.
Delete your data but keep your account
To start over without closing your account, use Reset all data instead: in the app or on dashboard.42todo.com, open Settings → Account → Reset all data, type RESET, and confirm.
- Deleted straight away: your tasks, lists, reminders, metrics and their webhook links, file attachments, connected AI assistant and integration settings, your settings and display name, and in-app usage counts.
- Kept: your sign-in account (email address, name, password or Google sign-in link), your plan, and your subscription records, so you stay signed in and keep what you pay for.
Server logs and the anonymous record of the reset follow the same retention as above.
