This policy explains what 42todo.com collects when you visit, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read, not to be survived — if anything here is unclear, email us at privacy@42todo.com.
We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used — which pages people read, where they arrive from, roughly how many visitors we get. That is the only reason we run any tracking at all.
We run it under Google Consent Mode (advanced), which means every storage and measurement signal starts denied. Until you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner, no analytics cookies are written and no measurement data is sent. If you decline — or simply ignore the banner — analytics stays off for you.
The advertising signals Google Tag Manager can carry (ad storage, ad user data, ad personalization) are always denied, on every visit, whether or not you accept analytics. We don't run ads and we don't build advertising profiles, so those stay off permanently.
Your accept-or-decline choice is remembered in your browser's local storage on this device — not in a cookie we read across sites, and not tied to your identity. You can change your mind at any time: open Cookie settings (also linked in the footer of every page) to bring the banner back and switch your choice.
We don't show ads, and we never have. We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We don't use your data to profile you for advertisers. The free plan is free because everyday task management is the product — not because you are.
When you sign in and use 42 Todo!, the tasks, lists, and settings you create are stored so we can give the product back to you across the web, your phone, and your AI assistants. That data is yours: you can export it at any time, and closing or downgrading your account never deletes what you've saved. This marketing site (42todo.com) doesn't require an account and doesn't collect account data — that all lives in the app.
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and move the "last updated" date above. Material changes to analytics or consent will be reflected in the cookie banner as well.
